Without an account, nowhere — the PDF is drawn on your device and the form is kept in your browser only. With an account, your details, families and invoices are stored encrypted in Australia, and you can export or delete everything.

Can I use it for a business, not just myself?

Yes. Put the business name and its ABN in the "You" section. If the business is registered for GST, tick the box and the invoice becomes a tax invoice with GST added.
